Disconnect the machine from water supply and electricity before starting repair works. To make sure that the power is off, check the display on the control panel – it should be inactive. Disconnect the appliance from the sewer. Remove the screws holding the lower front panel. Pull the access panel and protective plate towards you, and then set them aside.
The junction box is located in front of the dishwasher right behind the lower front access panel. Remove the junction box cover and disconnect the wires. Remove the two mounting screws from the brackets that hold the dishwasher in the niche. Take the dishwasher from the rack. The drain unit and water supply line should sag well enough to let you pull the dishwasher out of the niche where it’s nestled.
Disconnect the drain hose from the drain pump. Find the wire clamp that holds the drain hose located under the dishwasher and remove – use pliers if necessary. Put a towel under the drain pump to collect water that may spill from the drain hose.
Disconnect the drain hose from the water intake line. Remove the plastic nut that holds the hole for the water inlet on the inside part of the dishwasher tub. Use pliers if necessary. The inlet hole is attached to the drain hose on the outer left side of the dishwasher tub. Pull out the entire water inlet unit to release the drain hose from the bracket.
Disconnect the drain hose from the drain line. Disconnect the part of the dishwasher drain hose which goes to the sink from the part of the drain hose that goes to the drain pump. The drain hose is connected to the drain pump outlet with a spring clamp. Press the spring clamp clips to loosen it, and pull the drain hose out from the drain pump of the dishwasher.
Now you can install the new drain hose. Connect the part to the drain pump outlet and make sure it sits correctly and there is no leakage. Secure the hose with a wire binding. Position the new drain hose on the water inlet bracket just like it was with the original drain hose. Connect the part of the drain hose going to the sink to the new drain hose. Make sure the connection is secure.
Assemble the dishwasher in reverse order.
