The fact is that the mobile air conditioner is located on the floor, and the main amount of dust is just about 1.5 meters away from the floor. The coarse dust particles are protected by coarse filters – they are available in all models of portable air conditioners . And to eliminate the smallest allergens and bacteria, some models are additionally equipped with antibacterial filters. Fine filters do not require maintenance, but they need to be changed from 1-2 times per year.
Unfortunately, not every model of floor-standing air conditioners has such a useful thing as a condensate collector, so sometimes you have to remove the condensate accumulating in the pallet yourself. This can be avoided by purchasing a portable air conditioner model with a capacious tank.
Buying a floor air conditioner with a built-in evaporator will avoid unnecessary trouble. Therefore, when choosing a mobile conditioner for yourself, you should pay attention to the appearance of the evaporator, as well as the volume of the condensate collector.
